Me - I work independently and do not comission other English Tutors or Philosophy tutors.  In exceptionally busy times, or when I am fully booked, I am happy to refer you to colleagues locally who have a track record of success and positive feedback.

Who will I get as my English Tutor / Philosophy Tutor?

Of course!  However, we are most likely to see improvement and success working together over a number of sessions.

 

Equally, if you just need help with an assignment, Job / University Application or in improving a particular aspect of your work - just get in touch.

Can I book a one-off session?

Just about anything you might need.  Some students need support with a specific area of their study whilst others appreciate a wide range of interventions.  Our intitial sessions will help me tailor work together to meet your specific needs.

BA Joint Honours in English Literature and Philosophy from Durham University.

No - there can be discounts for booking multiple sessions in advance, for paired and group sessions, or for referring others for tutoring.  There are also discounts for sessions lasting for 2 hours or more. 

Are prices fixed?

English Tutoring / Philosophy Tutoring can take place at your home, or, at mine in North Wales  Costs are affected by the venue for teaching with reductions if you travel to me.

I am also experienced in offering online lessons via Skype, Teams, Google Meet etc.
